Skillogalee winery cottages

Flosski Studio was invited to help refurbish three cottages at Skillogalee Estate, Clare Valley. The simple interior refresh featured new wall colours, lighting and furniture in keeping with the winery's recent brand update and the iconic bush setting of the Skilly Hills.

Restaurateurs asked Flosski to create a glamorous black and gold interior inspired by Armani's restaurant where they had worked in Italy. The place received a cocooning, sensual makeover replete with a sinuous mural and organic, metallic lights. Local craftsmen were employed to create dark salvaged timber tables and a unique biscotti coloured banquette. The restaurant unfortunately closed during COVID lock-downs.

A 1930s dilapidated cottage perched high in the Yarra Ranges was in need of a sustainable renovation and colourful furnishings. Undertaken over a couple of years, the focus was on second-hand elements and affordable detailing such as paint for walls, floors and tiles!
